In this, his latest venture toward his return to the spotlight, Mort Weiss shows us how his smooth and silky clarinet will win audiences over. This recording, done live at steamers, is a must have, as Mort assembled an all-star band. Teamed again with Ron Eschete, the premiere 7-string jazz guitarist, Mort added two of L.A.'s most sought after sidemen, bassist Dave Carpenter, and drummer Roy McCurdy. Carpenter's credits include Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson and Woody Herman, while McCurdy's legendary career includes Cannonball Adderly, Nancy Wilson and Sonny Rollins. It was a special evening as once again Mort Weiss shines!
